I accidentally got some rust on the sheets while washing them, but it was a pleasant surprise to find that it washed out easily.
The bed sheets are machine washable and can be tumble dried on low heat.
After washing the sheets a few times, they have become incredibly soft and even more comfortable to sleep in.
