I took the steps to wash the pillow and it turned out well after washing.
I recommend washing the washable outer pillowcase with a zipper before putting it on the inner pillowcase cover.

I can adjust the firmness level of my pillow by adding or removing memory foam according to my preference. My wife likes her pillow thinner/softer, but I prefer mine a little thicker/more firm.
The pillow is just the right firmness for me and my ear does not feel undue pressure. The neck support is also fine.
