I asked the store to test the 3 batteries that were the same size, manufacture date and state of need, because I thought maybe I got a bad battery.
I did not know that testing a battery in the vehicle differed from testing it in the store. No worries, this little guy accounts for that as well.
This is a good tool for checking the state of health and battery charge at home, as well as testing 3 types of batteries, and it's a christmas gift for my brother.
I have many foxwell scanning devices and all have been very easy to use, I just received this little tool and it was so simple to use and understand, it worked like a charm.
The Foxwell Conductivity tester is a good value for its price and it does not have as many functions as the more expensive units, but most people who buy it will need a multimeter to do the rest of the functions.

You can view the charging status while running, but it won't test the starter.

The process is very easy, you have to choose the CCA for each battery you want to check.

What percentage of SOH health would you recommend a typical car battery be replaced?
A:
If the CCA falls below a certain percentage of battery rating, then it will tell you to replace the battery.

A:
I'm searching for a device to give me Ah instead of checking their vehicles battery state.

Will this device be able to test load and ranking Amps on a 6v battery?

This tester can't work on older batteries.
