I found the battery tester to be just what I needed. It accomplished the two things I was looking to do - telling me if my battery needed replacing and if my charging system was working properly.
I tested the battery tester on four different car batteries and took multiple readings off of each battery. Each of the readings were very different. I can't trust the readings from this tool.
