I could not use the cranking test in the beginning because my phone wouldn't open, and I had to wait for 1 minute for the data to flow from the device to my app.

The BM300 works just fine, I have three BM300s in different vehicles and they all work as advertised. When I get near one of the vehicles with the app running, the BM300 automatically connects (via Bluetooth), the current voltage reading is displayed, and all

I needed to confirm details that the manual left out in the second model, and an email pingpong with Ancel's technical support team took several days to respond to, until someone with some customer service experience stepped in.

I asked the device's makers if it was okay to leave it connected to the battery while driving, and they were quick to respond with helpful and important information.

I got a report on the battery on my phone as soon as I connected the posit lead, and I would love to be able to monitor it in my house.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

Is a battery reconditioner possible to damage it?

    A:

It won't do harm to the device and it's ok to make it connected continually.

    Q:

How many devices can be connected at the same time if the phone is out of range?

    A:

I bought two units in the app and learned the hard way that you can't control them all. In the settings in the app for Bluetooth Device, you can choose which battery monitor you want to connect to.

    Q:

I bought a BM2 monitor to track a battery problem but it lost all the data when the battery died. I don't know if this device retains data if the battery goes dead.

    A:

If the battery goes dead, Ancel BM300 battery load tester can't retain data.

    Q:

Will this work for 24volt battery bank, which include 4 - 6volt flood batteries wired in series to achieve 24volt system?

    A:

    It can't work for a 24V battery as it is a 12V battery monitor/tester.

    Q:

How do I download an app? There isn't a user guide. What is the best way to use it?

    A:

You can get the result from the app store if you enter the information of your battery and the battery is connected with bluetooth.
