I had the same problem as mentioned in other reviews. I solved the issue by slightly altering the orange limiter to allow more movement towards hot water, making the water hot enough for me.
I noticed that the water pressure is killed at the shower head and it causes water to run out of shower onto floor.

The product has low quality and is not easy to install. A treated copper fitting needs to be welded to the 1/2" pipe as the copper pipe cannot be connected directly to the valve unit. I would not recommend this product.
