I appreciate the design of the soap dish that keeps the soap dry and wicks away water towards the sink or tub. I have faced this problem with most soap dishes in the recent past, where water would sit underneath and slowly seep back into the soap as it evaporated.
The soap holder allows me to easily grasp the bar and it dries between uses. The angle of the holder also adds a decorative touch, making it look like the soap is on a little easel.
The soap dishes look nice on our new granite countertop by the sink.
