I tried cheaper collars but they never stood up to my dog's stubbornness and love for the ocean and water.
The bark-collar's waterproof and durable construction is a huge plus for me since my dog is active and outside a lot, playing with other dogs, hiking, etc.
I have used the collar on my dog while he swam in a kiddy pool and it is water resistant, but I removed it when he went swimming in the lake.

Even after bringing my dog inside and removing its collar, it still does not bark at me like it normally would.

The collar buckled awkwardly and only had 7 levels, with my pup already needing level 5. Additionally, neighbors reported that she was still barking.
