I have to tighten the bark collar almost as far as it will go because it is one size and my dog is quite small. There is a long tail of the strap that I have to loop around and around so it's not just hanging.
I noticed that the dog was always scratching at the collar and shaking or scratching enough to get it to move around, so the prongs were not at his throat. This told me that it was probably uncomfortable for him.
