After putting the collar on, I noticed an immediate reduction in barking when we both went out.

Bark-collars only vibrate and make a bleeping sound to warn the dog, they do not hurt them.
The vibration box is causing problems for my dog when she bends her neck down to eat/drink because it is large.

After putting the collar on and letting them both out, I noticed an immediate reduction in barking. Normally both dogs power out into the garden and are barking as they exit the door. Yesterday within seconds I heard initial barks then several yelps as the device activated, and then silence.
