I only use the beeping function to keep my dog from being a nuisance. It seems like my dog just needed a reminder not to bark because sometimes I forget to put it on when I go outside and he still doesnt bark.
I tried to test the collar in both test and regular mode after hearing my dog from the parking lot, but I could not get it to react.

The collars fit great on my larger dogs with plenty of extra adjustable collar. It also fits on my smaller dog but the display looks really big on her so we dont keep hers on as much.
