My collar effectively detects my dog's bark but doesn't pick up the neighbor's dog on the other side of the fence when it barks at me.
If I send my dog out without the bark collar about 3 times in a row, he will bark once or so again.

I liked the option to adjust the shock and vibrate levels of the bark-collar. After using the shock option on a low setting only a couple times, I was able to turn it off and only use the vibrate.
