The design and color of the baking-wrapping-packaging has changed and the boxes we received in December are way bigger than the ones we received in October.
The deep set cavities prevent cakes from tipping over during transport. The height allows enough clearance for frosting and the lid snaps securely shut. There is space on either side to easily remove the cakes from the cavity.
I like having the option to use the inserts or not.
