The Costco product is easy to install and stretches tightly over mirrors with plenty of slack, even though it's a bit small for a minivan. It doesn't require opening the doors.
After brushing off the snow on my car, I found it very easy to remove the cover and saw a perfectly clean windshield with no snow clogging the wiper area.
I have installed the product even in high wind with no problems. It is of excellent quality.

During the snow storm, it was convenient not having to scrape off snow and ice and I did not need to run the heat to get the windshield clean. The item worked great.
I use the cover to hold down the windshield for extra security from wind. It's not necessary, but it provides an additional layer of protection.
