The repair (painting) I did was so good that from more than 12 inches away, you would never know it was repaired by me.
I didn't think the matte would work but it does a great job. It is basically invisible unless you are specifically looking at it.
If you have multiple long and deep wheels that need sanding, it is suggested to order 2 of these or buy another sanding product to finish off the sanding due to the small coverage area of the product.

I found the product easy to use by following the instructions provided with the paint pen. I shook it, blotted the tip on a piece of cardboard, and covered the scratches with 3 coats, waiting 10 minutes in between the coats.
I isolated the scratch, smoothened out the area and applied multiple coats using the pen.
