About Stoner Car Care 91034-6PK 12-Ounce Trim Shine Protectant Aerosol Restores Dull or Faded Interior
Overall Feedback:
96% positive
91% praised the durability, though 9% experienced wear-off
I am a huge fan of Stoners glass cleaning products and had high hopes for this product. However, when I used it on my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS, which has very little black trim, it spread about in the most annoying fashion.
I have noticed that the chief downfall of the product is its longevity, but a single can lasts a long time.
After using the product, the items return to their faded look.
91% found it easy to use, while 9% struggled
I was impressed with how easy it was to use the product on the dull and faded trim of my Ford Transit van.
I find this product easy to use for darkening up hard-to-reach and clean areas on my truck, such as wheel wells, grille, trailer hitch, moldings, and door handles.
I gave 4 stars for the ease of use on certain applications, but don't believe it lasts longer than competitors.
93% praised the effectiveness, but 7% desired more
This product works well as a maintenance product on plastic trim that is in overall good shape, but it is not a restoration product.
I recommend this product for detailing purposes, especially for darkening up hard-to-reach and clean areas on my truck. It can also be used on moldings and door handles, but it's best to apply it before polishing or waxing to avoid spraying on the paint.
After 2.5 weeks of being parked outside in summer heat and 1 rain storm, I noticed that the product is starting to get streaked and will need to be redone.
82% found it residue-free, but 18% experienced streaks
I have noticed that the product leaves streaks on vertical surfaces with rain/water.
89% highlighted the scratch resistance, though 11% faced issues
The product made my engine compartment look like new.
I used the product to restore the faded bumpers on my husband's 2013 Jeep Wrangler and was impressed with the results.

87% liked the high-gloss finish, but 13% didn't
After 2.5 weeks of being parked outside in summer heat and 1 rain storm, the surface finish is starting to get streaked and I will need to redo it.
The product works well on floor mats and engine bay plastics, but the sheen lasts for less than 30 days.

After exposure to harsh weather conditions like rain and direct sunlight, our restored plastic surfaces retain their vibrant color and protective finish.
I am excited to see how durable the product will be.
