Overall Feedback:
91% positive
88% praised the durability, though 12% experienced wear-off
I am excited to see how durable the product will be.
This product can make old, gray or faded black plastic trim look brand new again and is durable.
I tried 303, Poorboy's World natural look and a few other brands but they were not good enough.
88% found it easy to use, while 12% struggled
The product is a gel that works great on super faded plastics. Follow the instructions and use a quality degreaser before applying it.
I find that the product is difficult to remove, but it's worth it because it maintains a cool black appearance.
The product made the running board very slippery and I almost fell while stepping up to the seat.
88% praised the effectiveness, but 12% desired more
The product effectively restored my car interior back to its original condition.
I tried 303, Poorboy's World natural look and a few other brands but they were ineffective.
After using the product, I noticed that it stays wet even after using a towel to remove the excess, indicating that it is not effective in removing moisture from automotive plastic.
88% found it residue-free, but 12% experienced streaks
After a car wash, the product did streak but did not revert back to its former faded condition.
87% highlighted the scratch resistance
After using the product, my car looked awesome and I am happy with the result.
I was surprised by the thickness of the product and the effort it took to work it in, indicating that it would last a good while on my car.
After using the product on the golf cart restoration, I noticed that it made the cart look new and has good scratch resistance.
I was able to remove the gray/sundamaged areas from the plastic trim using the product and it looked years younger.
I tried the product and it worked well. I compared it with an expensive product and passed on it.
I found that the product brings out the deepest of blacks or greys and goes on heavy.
83% liked the high-gloss finish, but 17% didn't
If the black, plastic trim is looking old, gray or faded, it's worth the extra effort to make the product look brand new again.
The product runs down painted surfaces like other cheap trim restorers and requires waxing to remove streaks after rain. I do not recommend or plan to buy it again.
I am a huge fan of Stoners glass cleaning products and had high hopes for this product. However, when I used it on my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS, which has very little black trim, it spread about in the most annoying fashion.
My vehicle's trim looks like it's 20 years old after being in the Pacific Northwest weather for about two years, indicating that the product is not durable enough to withstand the weather conditions.
After 2 months and several car washes, the product is holding up well with no fade so far.
