I had to use a dremel to make the passenger side of the handle fit because it was too close together.
Adjusting the automotive-grab-handles using the first method was a bit of a pain as the roll bar dropped a bit. However, the second method was easier and took about 90 seconds.
If I grip the handles and twist too hard, the grips can slide up.

The installation process for my 2005 Wrangler was not difficult, just required drilling one hole in the plastic trim piece on each side.
I installed the grab handles in 15 minutes and had to carve a minimal amount of plastic off the trim along the doorjamb on both sides.
