I have just installed the mats, so I can't comment on their durability yet. However, they look and feel to be of high quality rubber.
I am not yet confident in commenting on the durability of the product, but I have confidence in other aspects of it.
The mat is heavier and more robust than expected with better grip/anti-slip properties.

The floor mats were easy to install and snapped firmly in place.

The back seat mat comes in 3 pieces and the middle part tucks under each of the floor mats. The trunk mat sticks up a bit in the middle, but I put a piece of Velcro under the mat and it lays flat now.
Installing these mats was relatively easy, but I faced difficulty snapping the front liners onto the anchors, even after using force. The back liner snapped in easily.
After a few months of use, the front mats will not stay attached to the anchors that came with the product.

This mat is a perfect fit, quality, and design for the BMW X5 and I highly recommend it.
The floor mat fasteners fit exactly in place of the BMW factory carpet mat fasteners and the floor mats themselves were very easy to install.
