I had to sand down the rust areas, prime them and use 3m cavity wax on the inside of the bed where the rust was coming from to ensure durability.

During installation, I experienced no major issues except for the plastic edge during cold weather.
It was pretty easy to install.
The installation was easy with the provided directions.
I found that installing the rear set was slow because the screw holes didn't line up perfectly. But using spring type hand clamps helped position the flares and made installation easier. The front flares only took 15 minutes to install.
