The Ginsco pins are precision cast and made of durable nylon. They snap together solidly.
Plastic rivets are not suitable for extreme cold or heat conditions, yet vehicle manufacturers still use them in wheel wells and engine compartments.
When I tried to release the fastener to further adjust the part to be attached, all three of the heads broke off.

I had to install the plastic fasteners myself as only one out of eight was installed. I filled the empty holes and now I don't have to worry about the bumper cover falling off. I also have plenty more of varying sizes to use in future applications.
