I find the WI-FI model easier to set up than the manual version. I can track the times when my pet was fed and check the feeding history.
I am dissatisfied with the automatic-pet-feeder's connectivity. It constantly says no network, even though it is not very far from the wifi router. Additionally, when I need to change or skip a feeding, it stays stuck on a different schedule, even when I have changed it back and saved it.

I had issues with the feeding mechanism of the automatic-pet-feeder. The food was not dispersing into the metal bowl correctly, and would start to form a pile until it would back itself up and clog the hopper. I had to clear out the food jam daily by sticking my finger in the hopper.

I loved being able to spread my food out over 4 meals throughout the day and found it easy to program.
I have a complaint about the product as the food settings don't have any measurements for me to keep track of. I have to assume the portion size.
