If you're looking for a really tough drill that works inside a corded drill, this is the one for you.

I chose this one because of the reviews that were very good, and the fact that it did not have any of the bad characteristics that the other augers did.

The drill and bit strips no longer hold the auger, and the heads don't dig into the dirt very well, so I chose this one.

This makes it easy to drill a hole for small plants and bulbs, and my garden has grown since I bought this.

This tool is very easy to use and works great as we planted several large flowers in our front yard.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

    Does it work on hardpan?

    A:

It is very well-made and goes through hard soil.

    Q:

The general page states "2 pack" but the item's page only talks about one pack. Can someone tell?

    A:

    There is one machine.

    Q:

Is it made in the US?

    A:

Ask the seller, it's most likely not.

    Q:

What are the yellow things that come with it?

    A:

I didn't receive the yellow thing; it might be a plastic protection for the tip.

    Q:

Need a fast way to test multiple spots. Will this remove enough dirt to inspect where bit stops?

    A:

I used it to install pop up sprinklers. In your case you have to be careful if you are digging to locate the underground septic pump cap so that when the tip hits the cap, it doesn't damage it.
