I use a lazy susan for a base that allows 360 turns and a couple of foam pads for support if I need to prop it up a bit.
I bought this size to avoid discomfort while writing, specifically a slight bump between my elbow and hand.
I find it difficult to turn on the unit, adjust light intensity, or power it off easily.

The light box is larger than I should have ordered, but I will make good use of the extra light.
