The light box offers a flat or elevated working surface which is a luxury and comes in handy when different projects require different approaches. It also provides a brighter light without straining the eyes.
I have a device with a spring-loaded clip to hold papers in place.
I am dissatisfied with the light box's lack of adjustability for color temperature. I assumed it could be adjusted based on the product description, but it is not. The unit has both color and white LEDs and is set to a balanced and fixed output that cannot be adjusted.

I preferred the brightest setting out of the 6 offered because my image was small.
