I will not use it more than at the lowest couple notches since I use this for gem art, but it makes a big difference for my upper back/neck, for it to not be totally flat.

The stand is awesome and easy to set up. It comes with its own storage bag and has multiple levels of height adjustment. It grips the board well and doesnt feel wobbly or slip down. The clips were a nice touch too, they will securely hold whatever I am working on in place no matter how extreme of an angle I put on my stand.
