I was surprised that I didn't get the beautiful blue stencil, but I was equally surprised that my parents were surprised that they were getting a boy because they thought they were getting a girl.
I was excited to see that the two smallest ones are about the same size as book marks, so I can tuck them into my journal between entries.
I was looking for something similar and it was exactly what I was looking for, it arrived quickly and I liked the size variety.
The sizes are easy to use, but it is difficult to get a marker or pen through the smallest one.
I got these for the smaller letters and numbers to do mixed media andcollage techniques to make up for my lack of effort in growing as a watercolorist on art day at the senior center.
Question & Answers
Will this be strong enough to hold an engraving tool?
It's 1/8" thick.
Will it melt or can I use a wood burning pen?
I haven't burned them with the pen, but I am sure it will melt. Just use a pencil or pen and trace your letters.
Can you tell me if these are soft or hard plastics?
They are flexible plastic and hard to break.
Would these be small enough to etch a shot glass?
Doesn't bend.
Is it possible to use them for fabric and canvas and can I use them with pain?
You can do it if you have a larger stencil, but the smaller ones can come out like a big blob.
