The metal used for the hair holders is soft and comes loose, causing the hairs to fall out. It is advised to crimp them lightly before use, especially if kids are using them as it can be a choking hazard.
Many of our brushes were frayed quite badly, with bent and stray hairs, right out of the package.

The bristles are of good quality, they do not come loose, clean up nicely, and hold their shape well.
The bristle quality is poor and uneven, making painting difficult. Some bristles are super long while others are really short.
The bristles of my brushes are shedding right away and constantly dropping bristles into the paint on my palette. I tried rinsing them to get some of the initial shedding bristles out of there, but it did not work.

These brushes are very durable and retain their points/edges even after many uses.
Out of 20 round brushes, only 2 had points which were not very sharp and did not last for more than an hour before hooking. The other 18 brushes do not have usable points and some of them are more like cylinders and not able to get any details in, but are relatively usable for putting thick lines of paint.
I gave 4 stars because the previous set had angle brushes which I use a lot. I was disappointed that this set did not have any, but they are great brushes for general purposes.
My brushes came air tightened and all the brush hairs were out of their shapes and damaged.

I advise not to soak the brushes for long periods while cleaning. Instead, wipe with a paper towel, rinse and dry to prevent swelling of the brushes and opening of the metal bristle holder.
The brushes are easy to clean and hold their shape well. There has been no issue with bristles coming loose.
I have noticed that most of the brushes shed bristles right away. I tried rinsing them to get rid of the initial shedding, but they keep dropping bristles into the paint on my palette.

I have not mentioned anything about the handle comfort of the art-paintbrush-set.
I had a problem with one brush having the top come off and another having unevenly cut bristles, but overall they worked really well.

I have a set of 60 brushes with various sizes and shapes that is more than good enough to keep me going.
Our brushes are durable and maintain their points/edges even after multiple uses.
I am unsure if I would recommend the product, depending on its purpose.
