I used several coats and allowed it to dry for 2 days before using. So far, the labels are adhering well and look great.
I use this product to seal outdoor projects like pebbles and planters. It's much easier to apply than outdoor modpodge. Applying three or four coats of the dishwasher safe version gives a good weatherproof seal.

The finish of our product is clear, glossy, and not sticky, with no brush marks.
