About Seachem Flourish Tabs Growth Supplement - Aquatic Plant Stimulant 40 ct
84% praised for its ability to control algae growth
After using the product, I noticed no increase in algae, which is a positive aspect.
86% found it easy to dose and apply, while 14% had difficulties with the measuring instructions.
The product is easy to use and helps in getting plants going fast and supplementing them. However, it's advised not to use too many in one area as it can burn roots.
The treatment is easy to use by dropping it in the tank and pushing it into the substrate without worrying about floating away or breaking apart.
This product is a great way to add micronutrients back into the substrate, but it is not a complete solution as it still requires something else for macros.
I don't think the product is worth it.

79% appreciated its safe and gentle formula, while 21% reported some fish stress.
Our product has a gentle formula as it does not have any negative effect on the water, fish or shrimp.
I find the recommended application of the tabs too high.
81% praised for its ability to eliminate unpleasant odors, though 19% still detected some lingering smells.
I had to clean 3 of my tanks due to the treatment not working as expected.
83% appreciated its ability to replenish essential minerals, but 17% noticed some/mineral imbalances.
I have not faced any issues with water parameters going out of control after using the product.
The Flourish tabs do not contain two of the three macro elements, namely Nitrogen and Phosphorus. This is not a problem for most aquarium plants which can absorb Nitrogen and Phosphorus through their leaves, as long as the water column contains enough Nitrate and Phosphate. However, Rosette plants like the Amazon Sword and lilies (like Tiger Lotus) absorb almost all of their nutrients through their roots. So for these and some other plants, Flourish Tabs wont be enough and you will likely see Nitrogen and Phosphorus deficiency symptoms. You will need to provide additional nitrogen and phosphorus in the substrate around these types of plants. A good way to do this is by using Osmocote + gel capsules together with the flourish tabs.
I was not expecting the product to have phosphate.
