I faced an issue with black beard algae after being away for a week and not dosing. I increased the dosage and it started to kill off the BBA. I directly dosed the affected areas during a water change to expose the leaves and within a day the BBA was gone.
If API had marketed the product as an algeacide/biocide, I wouldn't be writing this review. It's frustrating that they didn't and it's a shame on them.
