I can turn off the filter when it's not in the glass beads or buried in gravel thanks to its safety feature. Plus, my African Dwarf Frogs are safe from being sucked up.
I find that the silicone grease on the battery compartment o-ring is effective and I am careful not to submerge that part of the vacuum, which demonstrates the product's effective and user-friendly safety features.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could fully disassemble the gravel cleaner for cleaning and reassemble it all one-handed.
This device makes my weekly water changes easier because there is not much to vacuum off the gravel.

I suggest that the bottom attachment should be easier to take off and on, as I like to completely dismantle the vacuum after each use and store it in the original box.
