I have been collecting these toys since my own kids were small in the 1990s and they last forever. Now, I give them to my own grandchildren and nieces. Their parents were surprised they were so well loved since the babies were under 2. My son and daughter in law were a bit skeptical they would be played with at such a young age but delighted they get played with every day.
