The alto-saxophone-reeds I use are of good quality. I am still on my 1st one and have had no issues.
I am still using my first alto-saxophone-reed and it has been durable with no issues so far.
My second reed for practice is not durable as it wilted quickly and is losing strength.
After a few weeks of steady use, one reed went soft and became unplayable, and it seems like another reed is also heading in the same direction.

The sound quality of the reed straight from the package is better than all the reeds in my Vandoren SRMIXA25 Alto Sax Jazz Reed Mix.
I noticed queaking on notes and it was frustrating to figure out the issue. The problem was resolved when I switched the reed with a rico one. The sound quality improved significantly.
