I have been using Rico Royals for a few years and tried these reeds as a more durable alternative since I was blowing through 10 packs so often. I cannot look back and use Rico Royals anymore.
I cannot give 5 stars due to the inconsistency of the product. I found at least 2 unsuitable reeds in the box because they were chirpy.
I have noticed that the newer reeds have issues with the hardness level and branding engraved on the flat side.

I get frustrated with other regular reeds as they start warping and become unusable quickly. However, Rico Plasticover reeds do not have this problem and last longer.
