On low or auto setting, the air purifier is very quiet, but it gets a little loud on high setting. It's about the same sound level as a box fan.
On the low setting, the air-purifier is pretty quiet and can be heard in a quiet room but almost any competing sound will drown it out.
I liked the air purifier's super quiet noise level even on its max fan speed. I could feel the strong airflow but almost no noise at all.
On the lowest 2 settings, the air-purifier's noise level is fine, but it has a droning sound.
