I overheated the air compressor once while trying to inflate all tires from 12 psi back up to 35 psi after beach driving. It cooled down in 20 minutes, even though the manual says it takes 30 minutes. However, it automatically restarted once it was cool enough.
My plug became useless because the spring inside it broke.
