I prefer the brushes included with these to other brands since they are fine enough to hold paint nicely, although I mostly choose to use my personal brushes.
I prefer working with higher quality bristles, although the paint by number kit does come with fine brushes.
I suggest getting fine detail brushes as the ones provided with the kit are not great or very small.
