About iDealBed 4i Custom Adjustable Bed Base
83% highlighted the compatibility with mattresses
My Bed Base works very well with my Sleep Number P5 mattress.
The bed fits with the king frame after removing the horizontal support beams.
80% liked the adjustment range, however 20% didn't
I was amazed at how easy it was to adjust the height of the bed even after it was installed with the mattresses and everything.
The range of motion for my head and feet is more than expected. It easily exceeds the advertised 40-degree angle for the head.
I faced a problem with the adjustable bed base when using the shortest legs. The arm that adjusted the head would catch on the carpet fibers, which could cause wear and tear on the mechanism or even damage the carpet. So, I switched to the medium leg height.
82% were impressed with the weight capacity, whereas 18% weren't
The bed's weight capacity of 850 lbs is reassuring for us as we have a heavy memory foam mattress and two sleepers.
The frame can hold 750 pounds, perfect for two people.
I found that the bed base weighed 145lbs, which was different from the description. I cannot move it down the stairs.
The bed weighs around 200lbs and I couldn't move it alone. Two super strong guys had to help.
81% found it stable, whereas 19% faced issues
I am concerned that I may need to buy a new bed soon or end up on the floor because the legs broke off the frame. I may need to buy a new bed soon or end up on the floor because the legs broke off the frame.
I am concerned about the instability of the bed legs and fear they may break.
I have noticed that the legs of the bed continually need tightening and even when tight, they are very wobbly. When I first got the bed, it scared me how wobbly the bed was when I would get in it. This review expresses my negative feedback with respect to the stability of adjustable-bed-bases.
The legs of my adjustable bed base are unstable and do not stay locked into the height position. I have to readjust them every few days and am concerned that the bed may collapse at any moment.
71% appreciated the silent operation, but 29% heard little noise
The sound of hydraulic lifts is minimal while on the bed.
I like that the adjustable-bed-bases are 100% silent in operation. Compared to my old box springs, there is no bedframe squeaking when getting in and out.
The bed bases move into position virtually silently.
The bed is whisper quiet when using one or both motors.

86% highlighted the remote control features, yet 14% didn't
The remote has back lit, underbed lighting and can be programmed to remember specific sleep settings.
I am impressed with the remote control features of the adjustable-bed-bases. It is responsive, easy to operate, and has a nice, solid feel with backlit buttons.
The remote control works great with many adjustments and a built-in flashlight.
I suggest that the print on the remote control should be clearer and the backlight should stay on longer when raised.
