What is this site all about? This looks like just another review/pro-cons website

BestViewReviews (BVR) is not your typical reviews website, it helps you find everything you wanted to know about a product before you bought it. Whether the lid of a flask is leaky, the toes of a shoe wear off in six months, the camera is sturdy enough to take a fall outdoors, or anything which you always wanted to know but could never find it.

How does it work? What does it do?

Since 2018, we've built an ML/AI algorithm along with a massive application capable of gathering and analyzing millions of reviews, blogs, and expert comments related to millions of products.

Are you guys using ChatGPT?

We have been building this AI engine since last 2018 whereas chatGPT debuted in 2022. We are using a bunch of proprietary models but we also use ChatGPT for some parts.

Who are you guys and why are you doing it?

We are a bunch of techies/geeks/mathematicians based out of New York and New Delhi who also happen to be avid shoppers. We love shopping and we want to help others.

Are you guys doing this for charity? Are you a non-profit organization?

Gosh No!! We are not doing this for charity. We are part of Affiliate Programs on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc. and every time someone reads our reviews and then goes and buys products from those websites we can get a small commission.

What is this BVR Bot?

We have tried to personify our algorithm and gave it an identity – BVR Bot. If you think about it, it is indeed a bot

I had read some reviews written by your bot and there were errors

Like all bots and droids since the ages of R2D2 and C3PO, our bot also makes errors. We are just hoping it doesn’t turn out like HAL.

Are there no humans involved in the reviews?

We do have humans in the loop who actually take a look at the content generated by the BVR Bot. Unfortunately, they cannot keep pace with it.

Do I really care if the content was generated by a human or an AI bot?

Frankly No as long as humans can read through thousands of lines about a product and tell you things which you want to know about. In our experience, it will take thousands of years if not millions.

Are you better than experts who make videos and write detailed blogs?

No, we are not as good as the experts who are reviewing a product but we are even better for you because not only we incorporate expert wisdom in our summaries but also those nuggets of wisdom acquired by thousands of shoppers like you who have actually used these products.

Do you get paid for these products?

Yes, we are paid a small commission if people go to our affiliate partner websites and buy these products.

Are you guys authorized with Amazon/Walmart/eBay?

Yes, we are authorized affiliates partners with all three of them and others.

How many products and categories do you cover?

We cover around 8,000 categories and around a million products.
