This particular product's packaging does not include a case like the other set.
After three years in storage, I rechecked the EBL AA 2800mAh batteries and found that three cells have terminal voltages of 0.7V which means they are completely drained. The fourth one is even worse at ZERO volts. Further testing indicates that this cell has developed an internal short and cannot be revived by any of my chargers.

The batteries have awesome longevity. I have been using them daily for my Xbox controller for several days without needing to change them.
The voltage of my batteries dropped to about 1.37V less than 1 day after charging and without any use. NiMH batteries tend to do that.
