I bought this as a spare for the exit windows on my Hummingbird 17FD, and it will go into my tool box if and when I need it, because forum members reported several breakages.
I got the exact same fit and finish as I wanted after drilling out the rivet and putting it on my latch, because the plastic piece on the end was exactly what I needed.
I have a Salem Cruise lite and it fits the window but you have to fold the top tabs down and screw it in place if you want to close the window because the piece is shorter than the original.
The window in our RV has an exit window that is easy to fit in and works well. If we are careful with the material, it will hold up for a long time.
The lever is working well and I didn't have to install any nuts or bolts.

They are plastic. My new one broke the same as the old one, so I ended up making my own mount out of sheet metal.

It comes as an assembly as far as I know.
