  • What users have to say about StarTech.com VGA to VGA Cable - 1 ft - HD15 M/M - Coax High Resolution

I wanted a cable with a diameter like a dime, which I think is a good proxy for the quality of the materials used throughout the manufacturing process, and I was very happy to see that the Startech cable is quite substantial.

I did not have to deal with a laptop when I was browsing the internet in my living room because I ran this cable out of my PC to a 24" 2nd monitor mounted on a vesa swing arm mount next to a lazy boy in my living room.

It was very easy to hook up my monitor to this cable, it was instantly identified, resolution was returned to native/optimum, and there was no ghosting to be seen.

I have a sharp Trinitron monitor which came with a decent quality video cable and text was clear and sharp, even after installing a new top-brand Geforce 4 Ti4800 video card.

The thickness of the cable is very similar to an extension cord, and it seems to have an effect on the quality of the video signal.
