What users have to say about CABLEDECONN Multi-Function Displayport Dp to HDMI/DVI/VGA Male to Female 3-in-1 Adapter Converter Cable
I needed to connect to a VGA KVM on my newer system but the video card only had HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, so I decided to use this 3-in-1 adapter to connect to other monitors.
I wanted the ability to plug the second monitor into the old PC when I needed it, as this is not designed for the constant swapping in and out of monitors.
The first one didn't show up, but the second worked great, and I use it to add a second display to a surface tablet, in this capacity, it works well.
I had to buy my own cables and stuff for my " home" office, and this works perfectly to convert my old Dell monitor from VGA to DVI so I can plug it into my Dell docking station.
I used it from display port to DVI and had no issues with the picture. I will probably get a chance to test it to HDMI before long.
Is it possible for this to power multiple displays at once?
I tried to send a DVI to my monitor and and HDMI to my wall TV, but as soon as I plugged in the HDMI to the TV, my monitor would go black.
Is it possible to connect my Xbox to my Mac monitor?
I don't think so, the Xbox would have to have a built-in DisplayPort to connect to an Apple DisplayPort type monitor.
What is the measurement of the gold piece?
You can find more information about it here. It's a standard DisplayPort connector with a width of 16.10mm, a height of 4.76mm, and a depth of 8.88mm.
Is this device compatible with an older crt vga monitor?
If your computer has a dp port and your monitor has a vga port, that will be fine.
If my computer has dvi and my monitor has displayport, will this work?
You can't use this type of computer. You can just connect from your dp computer to your dvi monitors.
