The tool holder is curved but that doesn't matter, it mounts well.
Will it not turn on the tool light when holstered?
I have not had a problem with the LEDs going on before you engage the tool.
Will it work the same on my left hip as it does on my left handed one?
I use it, but it doesn't hold my tools well and it's too tight to remove them.
Does it fit what belt sizes?
It's compatible with any belt size. You can either slide it over your belt or fastened it to your tool belt with the fasteners enclosed in the package.
Has anyone tried to use it with the compact drills?
I tried DE watt 20VLuthium batter and Rigid cord less drill, it worked well.
