The leather is strong and durable, and it does exactly what it's supposed to, even though I find it a little difficult to secure without actually looking at it.

My tool belt has been improved by this tape measure holder. It fits my 25 Milwaukee stud and my 25 Stanley fat max.

The vegetable tanned leather was very dry and fell apart as a bone. To make the tape holder supple, durable, and water resistant you have to feed it an enormous amount of mink oil and finish it with a mink oil/wax paste.

I use it with my Milwaukee tape and it fits great in the medium, I had to take the clip off it, but I'm okay with that.

I have had it for a few weeks now and it holds up well.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

What size holder should I buy for a 25" Milwaukee tape?

    A:

I got the large for 25' tape and it's a little big, so I would try a medium.

    Q:

Will this fit a 25' Craftsman?

    A:

Yes and easily fits a Stanley Fat Max 25'.

    Q:

What's the right size for a 25' Klein?

    A:

I don't know about the 25' fat max, but my 25' Stanley Powerlock II fits nicely into the Klein tools 5195 with room to spare.

    Q:

Will it fit a 35' dewalt?

    A:

If you remove the clip, I would recommend the Large because it fits really well in my 25 ft dewalt and I would go the large for a 35 ft tape measure.

    Q:

Does this fit the new 30' klein tape measure?

    A:

Yes. You will need to take the clip for a 30 and I would go with the large.
