My 9 year old ordered this and really likes it, but it seems like a breakable item for a boy his size, but a teenager might be too big.
I recommend replacing the berrings on this board, they are horrible, and it is a great board with some modification, and with that price tag, I would recommend this.
I skateboarded for the first time because I wanted a faster way to commute to places that buses don't go to and also because I wanted to get outside more.
The board seems to be a good build, and I haven't been skating in 15 years.
The skateboard is great for my 9 year old, but it's not perfect because the rear wheel trucks were put on backwards at the factory.
