A huge difference in operation has been observed after using many of Royal Purple's lubricants, which is a true testament to the product since I have never used a lubricant that has a noticeable difference in operation.

I have always used synthetic motor oil in my small engines, but only if I need a quart of random compressor oil.

I have been using this oil for a long time, and it has no issues, no color changes, or smoke smell.

This oil was easy to top off due to the gear oil and spout, so I'm very satisfied so far.

The oil is dark but you can see bright purple in the sight glass so it won't be hard to change it when you get it done.

    Question & Answers

Is it possible to use this in a pressure washer compressor?

Yes. I use it in my pressure washer that uses 30 weight oil with a ceramic piston pump.

I was led to believe that it was a "full synthetic" compressor oil when one of the customers stated it was a "synthetic blend" oil.

Royal Purple oil is not a synthetic blend, and it's either a mistake or intentional marketing that helps shady resellers match as many searches as possible.

Is it compatible with PAG or PAO oils of R134a and R22 AC systems?

I am familiar with RP Synfilm as to my application, I recommend calling their 800 # and asking for tech support, they will be more than happy to answer all of your questions, recommend products, and of course provide product #'s.

Can I use this royal purple in a badger silent ii compessor?

It's your choice to use the manufacturer's recommended product or a synthetic, or synthetic blend product, if your compressor calls for ISO 100 (30 Weight) Oil.

Is hydrolic oil the same as aw46?

This isn't a hydraulic oil, rather it's a lube oil that lubricates the crank and piston of the compressor, similar to motor oil, but without the combustion process involved.
