There is evidence that shows that WD40 works, and that it does not harm "O" rings. I am changing my review to 5 stars because after riding 500 miles over 3 days in constant rain and pouring snow, I decided that I needed to raise my rating to 5 stars.

I heard about Dupont Chain-Saver from a motorcycle friend, who said he used it on his motorcycles and that it gave him exceptional life out of his chains and sprockets.

This is the best chain lubrication I have ever used, it flows on like water and the chain can be wiped clean with no grease left behind, it seems to do the job of lubricating the chain well on my 2014 Triumph Bonneville.

There were some cases where there were puddles but not on the chain or the sprocket.

One of the leading ring chain manufacturers recommended WD40 because dirt doesn't cling to in like it does to waxy sprays, which is why it's too expensive to make dedicated motorcycle chain lubes.
