The side surface seems to have more grit than smooth, which is unusual, but they seem to perform just as well as the ones I am used to.
I usually go to Harbor Freight for this type of thing, but decided to try these out at a lower price. The one downside is that they aren't labeled as far as the grit size.
I use my angle grinder a couple of times a week on odd jobs, such as trimming metal studs, cutting off bolts or screws, and slicing off stainless steel, and I usually keep a spare disk or two.
They were a new offering when they were ordered back, so so far they are 1 of the better 10 packs vs price, and have made multiple reorders.
They cut great and I have had a few break loose around the center, but it was because I was putting too much pressure on them.
